I ordered the Patacon with shredded chicken and a Papelon (lemonade with cane sugar). Good food and very friendly employees. The ambience was nice, a lot of seating to eat inside and a small patio area to eat outside. Pretty affordable price. Does accept card and cash. ---- Ordené el Patacón con pollo mechado y un Papelón (limonada con azúcar de caña). Buena comida y empleados muy amables. El ambiente era bonito, muchos asientos para comer adentro. Precio bastante asequible. Aceptan tarjeta y efectivo.

Plenty of seating inside and outside. Fast service, nice servers. The burritos are pretty good. I didn't love my cachapa, the corn was just too sweet for the filling and the beef was a little dry. Otherwise, sauces were good. I would come back for a burrito but not sure if I would try a cachapa again.

1/1 Ambience; 2/2 Food; 1/1 Service; 1/1 Value The restaurant itself is very colorful and vibrant, with an ambience that evokes a fun, casual meal with friends after a night out in the lively nearby bars and clubs scene. My entire group opted for the arepas. It was my first time trying arepa and they did not disappoint in the slightest bit. The food was made to order and served piping hot. The first bite was heavenly with two golden and crunchy arepas sandwiching the various filling with lettuce, tomatoes, fried queso and mild red and green sauces. I opted for the pollo mechado (shredded chicken), which was tender and flavorful, while my friends opted for pernil mechado (shredded pork) and the arepa pabellon (beans, plantains and beef). They do not stuff lightly-- every bite had a sizable filling to arepa ratio, but even afterwards we all needed cutlery to fork up the filling that fell out and into the foil. They are open late and the service was quick, efficient and friendly. While not a table service restaurant, there is plenty of bench seating and the staff will bring your food to your table. The staff were also all bilingual in English and Spanish. In all, Cachapas y Mas delivered on speedy and amazing food for a late night meal for all of us!

My friend had to order in spanish for me, but I've been craving cachapas ever since I tried it for the first time here! It's crazy how few places in the city make these. The corn cakes were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, warm, and slightly sweet. Loved the cheese in it, reminded me of a warmed up slice of fresh mozzarella. Sauce really brought the veggies and meat together. The cold passionfruit juice really hit and completed the meal :)
